Floralife Sold
Floralife was sold to the Rohm and Haas Company, a publicly held international chemical company in April.  Floralife, a post-harvest care product will become part of AGROFRESH Inc., a company that produces and markets technology that protects apples and other crops against the over-ripening effects of ethylene during storage and shipment.

Trucking Rates and/or Surcharges Expected to Rise Sharply
David Bradley, Canadian Trucking Alliance president, warns that the trucking industry “will have to pass increased costs along to their customers through fuel surcharges, rate increases, or a combination of both.”
