NRF forecasts Christmas increase of 2.3%
Oct. 14, 2010 - After a ho-hum 2009 and a disastrous 2008, holiday retail sales in the U.S. are expected to increase a more moderate 2.3 per cent this year to $447.1 billion, according to the National Retail Federation.

Government limits EI premium increases for 2011
Oct. 5, 2010 - The Retail Council of Canada (RCC) commends the Minister of Finance and the Government of Canada for limiting the 2011 employment insurance (EI) premium increase to $0.05 for employees and $0.07 for employers.


Credit cards delay chip rollout
