The Flowers Canada Toronto Chapter
held their annual Christmas Design and Décor Trends design show on Oct.
15 in Mississauga, Ont.
The event was well attended and very few seats were empty as Floral Art Dutch Master Nemo Nauta from the Netherlands presented his holiday designs. Despite being fresh off a flight from Dubai, Nauta was energetic and inspiring as he presented holiday designs that incorporated both classic Christmas elements and fresh, unique materials. He demonstrated to florists how they could offer their customers a simplistic, yet chic, design and also took the floral arrangement one step further to create standout shop display.
By the end of the show, it was clear that Nauta was in the Christmas spirit (and in October that’s quite the feat) as he donned a Santa suit for his last few designs.
