Western Florists Get Sky High Exposure
The April 2007 edition of Air Canada’s enRoute magazine gave frequent flyers a little extra floral reading during their flight.

The issue featured an article on trendy neighbourhoods in a number of Canadian cities and the shops located within the cities. The Vancouver flower shop Flower Factory was mentioned as a favourite flower shop by a Canadian actress names Gabrielle Miller. Miller was quoted in the magazine as saying “Flower Factory is my favourite flower shop. I just walked by one day and fell in love with it. I use flowers as a reward for cleaning up my house. It’s like, okay, I deserve a beautiful bouquet.”

Winnipeg florists Beyond Flowers and the Green Scene were also cited as trendy shops located on Lilac Street, a fashionable neighbourhood in the city. By including flower shops in an article about trendy neighbourhoods, it reinforces the idea that a florist shop is essential to every town or city.
