On Sept. 5, 2007, Teleflora announced the launch of an
on-going partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF),
a not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical
and genetic research. A minimum of 85 cents of each dollar donated to
BCRF goes directly to breast cancer research and awareness programs.
As part of this partnership, Teleflora will feature a different bouquet on Teleflora.com every month. Every time a consumer purchases the featured item, Teleflora will donate 20 per cent of the purchase price to BCRF, with
a commitment of raising a minimum of $100,000. Each arrangement will be highlighted with the BCRF pink ribbon.
Teleflora will offer customers a variety of arrangements at different price points. The partnership kicks off this month, in advance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is in October. Teleflora customers can now purchase its new Autumn Gemstones Bouquet on Teleflora.com and Teleflora will donate 20 per cent to BCRF.
