Tony Manders, AIFD, CAFA Tony is the owner of Regency Florists in London, Ont., since 1998. Born in Holland, Tony trained at Sierteelt Vak School in Vught, where he earned a degree in Floriculture & Horticulture. Tony arrived in Canada in 1986. He was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 1990 and the Canadian Academy of Floral Arts in 1995. Since then, he has been the co-ordinator and instructor of floral design at Fanshawe College in London and has taught at the University of Guelph for Flowers Canada. Tony has extensive experience in international design shows and competitions. Tony cites nature, colour, shape and form as the things that inspire him. The industry icons whose work he draws from include: Hitomi Gilliam, aifd, Canada, Jan Van Doesburg, Holland, and Gregor Lersch, Germany.
