Design notes “..This structure can be made weeks in advance… then simply glue in the callas the day before!”

Floral Products:

•    18 mini calla
•    2 stems asparagus fern
•    10 aspidistra

Decorative Elements:
•    1 roll sheer tulle
•    1 box  triple head pearl deco pins
•    3  metres satin-edged sheer ribbon
•    6 metres silver thread
•    7" styro circle, 2" deep
•    70   #18 wires

Construction:
•     Hollow out the centre of the 7" styrofoam circle approximately 1" down leaving a 1" edge  around the outer edge.
•    Tape approximately 70  #18 wires in clusters of  5.
•    Glue each cluster into the bottom of the styro circle in a random but equal distance pattern.
•    Gather all the stems together approximately 10" down the handle
    and tape to the bottom of the handle.
•    Lay aspidistra into the structure one at a time and tape into the handle.
•    Pin top of aspidistra into the centre of the styro form.
•    Insert decorative pearl pins into the outer edge of the circle and wrap with silver thread.
•    Position tulle puffs and decorate the handle with tulle, ribbon, thread and pearls.
•    Glue callas into the centre of the form.
•    Wrap asparagus fern with silver thread and glue into the centre.
•    Pin tulle into the centre of the form to finish.
