The letter was in response to the Floral Marketing Funding Initiative’s (FMFI) proposed “Cut Flowers and Cut Greens Promotion, Research, and Information Order.” FMFI president, Charles Kremp, stated that some of these fears were based upon incorrect information and a lack of understanding, and that it was unfortunate the letter was sent to be published before it was discussed with the FMFI leaders.
