 Jan. 11, 2006 — Holey Soles announces the donation of
100,000 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls Inc., a non-profit organization
that provides footwear to needy people around the world. This is the
largest single donation ever received by the organization.
“Holey Soles has made an incredible gesture that will impact one hundred thousand lives,” said Wayne Elsey, founder of Soles4Souls and president of Kodiak-Terra, USA Inc. “We are incredibly thankful that Joyce (Groote) and the team at Holey Soles have such big hearts for people all over the world and are willing to get involved in such a momentous way. These wonderful shoes will be distributed to people in several African countries, as well as Central and South America, and we couldn’t be more pleased to deliver these shoes to people who will greatly appreciate the gift,” he said.
Holey Soles are pretty hard to miss, with their distinctive design and bright colours. Due to the shock absorbing properties of the foam, Holeys are incredibly comfortable–even if you spend the whole day on your feet.
