Valentine’s Arrangements
Beginning his career in St. Catharine’s, Ont., approximately 25 years ago, with a love for all things creative, Darren is passionate about what he does. Darren has been fortunate to gain his experience in all aspects of the industry, freelancing in many flower shops as well as designing and consulting at many wholesale companies over the years. At present Darren is owner of Darren J. Lazarenko Creative Design in Burlington, creative design director at Golden Rose Canada, design instructor at Canadian Institute of Floral Design, Toronto, and a member of the board for Flowers Canada Toronto Chapter.

Dinner for two
A hand-tied nosegay of twelve Wanted roses – this lovely bouquet was designed with dinner for lovers in mind. Created in a beautiful silver holder, this can be presented during a passionate dinner and even taken to work the next day!
 Inexpensive elegance
This is a rose arrangement with the cost-conscious customer in mind. The vase is the new No Ming vase and it is made of paper. It comes to you flat and you put it together within minutes. The No Ming vase will hold water for over two weeks. Accented with 24 beautiful Black Baccara roses in the very popular hand-tied nosegay style and embellished with pearl head corsage pins.
 I Give You My Heart Forever
Fun, creative and simple to do, this arrangement consists of one dozen Intuition roses bound together with one bunch of equisetum and red wire. In addition, for some whimsy, wire was worked into the middle of the design, dropped down at different levels and curled to hold Chocolate Kisses. This piece would be great for a child as well as an adult.

This piece was designed with the Valentine’s engagement in mind, for the future groom who wants to send something spectacular. As you can see, this design was created in a maché heart and consists of 50 Malibu roses and one bunch of fatsia leaves and liriope grass. It is accented with six pink crystal sprays, silver wire and topped off with a gorgeous diamond ring in the centre.
