Campaigning for Local Flowers
pick_ontarioMarch 19, 2008 - Flowers Canada (Ontario) Inc. launched the Pick Ontario campaign on March 4 by giving away free flowers at Toronto’s Union Station. The launch was complemented with outdoor posters, pathways posters and transit advertising in the city to encourage people to Pick Ontario. As commuters made their way through the busy station, Pick Ontario employees handed out free gerberas and tulips.

The Pick Ontario campaign aims to raise awareness of both the variety and quality of flowers produced by Ontario growers. As the campaign gets underway, the Pick Ontario logo will be clearly visible at points of purchase to help consumers easily identify Ontario grown cut flowers and potted plants. A Pick Ontario website was also recently launched to inform consumers about Ontario grown product.
