March 20, 2008 - March is Fraud
Awareness Month and the Bank of Canada, in collaboration with the RCMP
and other police agencies, payment card partners, Canada Post and
several industry associations has developed Fighting Fraud on the Front Lines: a Retailer’s Guide.
Interested retailers can visit the Bank of Canada’s website to order a DVD with advice on how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud. You can also download fact sheets on identity theft, payment card fraud, bank note counterfeiting and cheque and money order fraud from the website.
