Floral foam is placed at the bottom of the ceramic vase and then a log covered with moss is attached in the centre using floral tape.  The tape is covered using horsetail leaves.  A yellow carpet of tansy is added to both sides.  The oval shape of the tansy distinguishes the texture of the moss and enhances the subtle palette of the dahlias.  To balance the colours of the flowers, the reed is organized as a triangle.  Broken lines of the reed create a flow through the whole composition.

design_pf06_3Diadem Summer
The rustic flair of the country can be found in this diadem.  This charming design uses wires to bunch tansy and fir cones together.  A colourful alternative to the typical headdress, this garland would be ideal for an outdoor fall wedding.

design_pf06_5Bridal Bouquet Flower Indigo
An ode to the honour of hydrangeas.  I believe this bouquet would be ideal for a unique bride.  The bouquet is created using a spiral technique and is supplemented by bear grass and reeds.  Pearl beads in the bouquet represent dewdrops.
