Florists Supply’s Wedding Seminars a Success
Florists Supply hosted basic and advanced Wedding Hands-on Seminars in each of our four locations. Students were taught the basics techniques and the principals of designing bridal bouquets and corsages. In the advanced course they went a step further using more advanced techniques and tricks on getting that “must have” design for brides. Students received a certificate of completion for each seminar.
Florists Supply would like to thank the featured designers for providing seminars of this quality and continually raising the standard for all participants. Visit www.floristssupply.com for upcoming design shows and exciting hands-on seminars in our “Up Coming Events.”
Deborah Kathleen “Debbie” Thurley
1958 – 2006
After a courageous battle with cancer, Debbie Thurley passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17th with her family by her side. Owner of Gray’s Florist Ltd. in Dundas, Ont. since 1990, Debbie was always known for her beautiful flowers.
According to her wishes, a service celebrating her life was held at the Copetown Community Centre, followed by a potluck. More than 500 people attended, and they each received forget-me-nots as a living keepsake to celebrate Debbie’s life. Known for her big smile and upbeat personality, Debbie will be deeply missed.
