April 4, 2008 - The Flower Council of Holland is reporting on a new marketing concept making an appearance in Europe. A bunch of freesias are transformed into a stylish gift when packaged in the freesia gift bag. The gift bag is a plastic cylinder with handles that can be hung or stood.
The freesia gift bags can stand in water to allow for hydration and help protect the blooms from damage. The cylinders are printed with various themes and are available in a number of coolers.
