Solid As a Rock
This contemporary Valentine's heart is for a customer with a creative mind. You have to listen to your customers to convey their feelings and personalize their designs for Valentine's Day.
Use grapevine and flaming willow twigs to partially cover the wired heart. Work in layers to add additional material to create depth. Using wire, secure stones to the bottom of the heart. Place two Aspidistra leaves at the back half of the heart. Roll some galax leaves over the aquapics and secure them with coloured wire. Weave the calla lilies through the heart, using the stems to create curved lines. Every calla stem is finished with a decorative aquapic filled. Weave some additional Thypha leaves to enhance the shape of the heart. Finish by rolling petals of a velvet rose and glue them to the frame.

Exotic Kiss
Exotic flowers are often overlooked at Valentine's Day, but they're a great alternative. Evoking memories of warm, tropical getaways might be exactly what some of your customers are looking for.
Create a compact round bouquet with the protea pincushion, eucalyptus and fountain grass. Place Thypha leaves in the centre of the bouquet and then place the bouquet in the small sisal bouquet holder. Create a circle of galax leaves in between the sisal holder and the bouquet to enhance the contrast. Place three Aspidistra leaves under the bouquet holder and tie it all together with a piece of string. Cut the stems and place the arrangement in the sisal cone filled with water. Finish by bending the Aspidistra and Thypa leaves downward to the cone until you get the playful shape of a tiara. Tie everything together at the top of the cone with string and cover with a decorative Thypa leaf.

Place a single design bowl with foam in the middle, and weave some Thypa leaves over the bouquet holder. Roll and bend Aspidistra leaves until you have a nice curved form and secure them with wire.
