Written by Extech Data Systems

April 18, 2008 - Waltham, MA - Extech Data Systems, a developer of portable printers for enterprise-wide applications, announces the S3750THS Series battery-operated thermal printer for the retail industry. The unit, with an upgraded 2.2amp lithium battery that produces more receipts per charge, is ideal for queue or “line-busting” applications. With multiple interface options, the printer is easy-to-use and allows merchants to better service patrons, particularly during peak trading periods.

The S3750THS has proven effective in a variety of retail applications, affording store owners the luxury of reducing wait times for customers in the purchasing checkout area. By facilitating improved customer service, retention, and turnover, the S3750THS portable printer promotes an increase in overall retail sales. Retail applications include service at coffee houses, bars and restaurants, garden centers, and at the ballpark or stadium, allowing club seat patrons the enjoyment of a rapid food and drink ordering system. Ordering and payment can now be done seat-side, and all communication to the kitchen, including credit card approval, is done over a wireless network.
