Silent Sellers |

Taking Your Store’s Signs to the Next Level As storeowners, we all hope for a busy store full of beautiful product and browsing customers. If life were perfect, we’d have sales staff ready to provide wonderful customer service, waiting to greet clients, answer questions and educate the customers on product lines. Sounds great doesn’t it? Well wishful thinking is one thing but common sense tells us that this scenario is too good to be true and reality sometimes hurts. Think about the last time you were out shopping and you couldn’t find the price of an item or any information about it. Think about how much time you spent looking for a sales associate; if you were lucky enough to find one. If you’re like most people, you probably felt discouraged and frustrated, and felt as if you had to work to spend your money. Or you felt like an interruption and a burden to the sales associate, which you had to hunt down and interrogate. This is reality! What can we do to change this? The answer is the silent seller. Gone are the days of homemade signs. Pencils, pens, markers, cut-outs and photocopies have been replaced with computers, printers, scanners and digital cameras. We no longer have any excuses not to have professional signs in our stores. From customized corporate price tags to brand signs and logo identification, every store needs to take their signs to the next level. • Signs allow you to deliver a message without a sales person being at your customer’s beckon and call. • They can advertise the features and benefits of a product while stating basic information such as price and availability. • Signs help you’re customers get the answers they’re looking for without assistance. The signs shown are printed on a poly paper that is weather resistant and holds up well in the elements and can even be used in a cooler. If needed, the same print and sign system can be applied to regular paper or card stock depending on your individual needs. The program used here is one developed and supplied by C. Frensch Ltd., which allows the use of digital photos to be input and printed as well as a variety of unique layouts, fonts and photos. For further information about the sign systems available please contact C. Frensch at 905-563-4774 Leslie Groves completed the horticultural technician’s diploma program at Niagara College as well as the retail floristry program at Humber College, where she has instructed.
