Monique Durrant

Written by Monique Durrant
Monique Durrant

Monique Durrant has been in the floral design business for 8 years. She studied floral designing at Humber College for one year. After graduating from Humber, she went to the Netherlands to study flowers further. While in the Netherlands, she apprenticed in three flower shops and one greenhouse where she gained invaluable experience. In the eight years that she has been a florist, she has worked in many of the high-end flower shops in Toronto. Two years ago she decided to branch out on her own and started Mondu in a studio. Four months ago she opened a storefront in downtown Toronto. Her shop specializes in contemporary designs for weddings, parties and corporate events.
