Written by Rita Truba

Montreal Gardeners’ & Florists’ Club

• In spite of a snowy and blustery evening, some 20 members braved the elements to attend the March 7th general meeting at Edgewood Greenhouse in Cote St. Luc. Corinne and Murray Van Egmond, brother and sister, hosted the event. An excellent buffet awaited the members. Guest speaker was Paul Yeadon, a certified home and property inspector who covered why one should consider a home inspection prior to buying or selling a home.

Passings:
• Raymond Lapiere, Fleuriste Raymond, Montreal, passed away March 1st, 2005 at the age of 65.
