Leaves of Copper

For a more permanent piece, spray the leucadendron with a cranberry, glossy wood tone and copper paint. Drain the water and the leucadendron will dry naturally. Enjoy! – Design Note


Fresh Floral Products
  • two bunches leucadendron
  • one bunch dogwood
Hard Goods
  • one 12 x 55-cm glass vase
  • five artificial ‘Venezia’ 75-cm leaves
  • five bunches 60-cm pheasant feathers
  • three metres number three copper ribbon
  • three metres tinsel cord
  • two metres number nine ribbon
  • two jars deco gravel
Construction
  • Secure dogwood to outside of vase with a few pieces of raffia and trim to desired height.
  • Glue two of the plastic leaves to vase and secure with ribbons.
  • Band tinsel cord over the top of the ribbon in a decorative manner.
  • Glue pheasant feathers to ribbon.
  • Fill vase with deco gravel to desired height and add water.
  • Insert leucadendron.
  • Place remaining ‘Venezia’ leaves in position.
