The Canadian Professional Floral
Designers Association held its annual People's Choice Awards Floral
Design Competition in conjunction with the CanWest Horticultural Show,
which ran from Sept. 20-21, 2008. The competition attracted 16 entries from students, designers and florists. The general public and trade show attendees voted for their favourite design. The competition received 636 votes in total and several of the entries were very close in numbers - the tenth place spot resulted in a three-way tie.
