– Design Note
Fresh Floral Products
  • three green spider commercial mums
  • one piece variegated pittosporum
  • one bunch of snake grass
  • two stems polypodium

Hard Goods
  • one 4x8-inch piece of green styrofoam
  • one block of floral foam
  • one (2.5) litre pail black glitter rock
  • one package nine cm black deco pins
  • one metre 12 gage aluminum wire
  • one “heritage” 40x8 cm glass bowl
  • one bottle of your favourite “bubbly”

Construction
  • Cut styrofoam to desired length.
  • Cut two narrow strips of floral foam to match side length of styrofoam.
  • Using pan glue, glue the dry floral foam to either side of the styrofoam.
  • Glue styrofoam to glass base.
  • Glue a floral foam “chair” to the back of the champagne bottle and insert into position.
  • Pour black gravel into bowl.
  • Fill bowl to desired depth with water.
  • Insert flowers and foliage into wet floral foam.
  • Pin and glue snake grass into position.
  • Weave in deco wires.
