Fresh Floral Products
- three green spider commercial mums
- one piece variegated pittosporum
- one bunch of snake grass
- two stems polypodium
Hard Goods
- one 4x8-inch piece of green styrofoam
- one block of floral foam
- one (2.5) litre pail black glitter rock
- one package nine cm black deco pins
- one metre 12 gage aluminum wire
- one “heritage” 40x8 cm glass bowl
- one bottle of your favourite “bubbly”
Construction
- Cut styrofoam to desired length.
- Cut two narrow strips of floral foam to match side length of styrofoam.
- Using pan glue, glue the dry floral foam to either side of the styrofoam.
- Glue styrofoam to glass base.
- Glue a floral foam “chair” to the back of the champagne bottle and insert into position.
- Pour black gravel into bowl.
- Fill bowl to desired depth with water.
- Insert flowers and foliage into wet floral foam.
- Pin and glue snake grass into position.
- Weave in deco wires.
