Flowers hit the big screen in Times Square
Written by Amanda Ryder
At the beginning of March, Asocolflores kicked off a four-month long flower promotion campaign on the CBS Super Screen media board in Times Square.

As part of its "Colombia, Land of Flowers" marketing campaign, a 26-inch wide by 20-inch high full colour electronic billboard in the popular tourist spot features two 15-seconds spots per hour which run 18 hours per day (from 6 a.m. to midnight), seven days a week. The screen generates more than 1.5 million consumer impressions per day.

A different theme and message will be featured each month. The March message was based on research conducted at Harvard and sponsored by the Society of American Florists. The video asks "Good enough reasons to buy some flowers today?" and cites a decrease in depression, anxiety and stress, as well as an increase in compassion, enthusiasm and energy.
