We all know the vending machine as a place to go for pop and snacks but a new company is hoping that these machines will also become a go-to place for your flowers.
The first North American vending machine was unveiled by 24 Hour Florist Inc. at the 2009 Super Floral Show in Atlanta, GA. The unit is fully refrigerated, and allows the retail florist to advertise their business and sell their own customized flower arrangements on demand at high traffic locations like hospitals, airports, hotels, shopping malls and more. The kiosks are monitored 24 hours a day and come with software that allows the florist to see, in real time from the comfort of their shop, how fresh the flowers are, when purchases are made and if spots need to be replaced or filled. All customers have to do is insert their payment and the vending door opens and shuts automatically to allow the customer to pull out their arrangement.

Written by 24Hour Flotist on 2009-08-17 14:48:28 The purpose of the Kiosk Sales System is to show and sell your floral designs to impulse customers who would not necessarily be coming into your florist shop on that day. It is interactive with the customer, advertises your business with a TV type commercial that thousands of people see at a location that you could not necessarily afford with out the sale of the flowers. It also allows customers to place an Internet type order that goes directly to you the florist. Nothing can beat personal attention but the Kiosk, works 24-7, never asks for a raise, sick leave, and vacation time or has a migraine and your funds are direct deposited and secure. Unlike a sandwich machine the Kiosk is connected directly to the florist owner to their PC via DSL so the see the age of all product and sales as they are happening. Freshness should never be an issue; we do not put systems in incompetent florists hands. It very affordable contacts us at 866-257-9504 for details or email us. For the customer who wants something personalized they can select from your customized on line menu right on the kiosk touch screen. Many thanks for your interest |

Do you remember how \\\\\\\"not fresh\\\\\\\" it was? Imagine the flower! I don\\\\\\\'t think you can keep it fresh and nice looking all the time. |

Written by Guest on 2009-06-20 11:11:16 This seems like a good idea if they can keep the costs resonable for the average florist. The more consumers we have buying flowers the more there will be who want to buy flowers. Makes it more availabe, more like in Europe where flower vendors are on every corner. |

Written by Ellie Richardson on 2009-06-19 14:55:08 For the customer who is in a hurry and isn't interested in personalizing the arrangement it might work, but we again are getting away from the customer service everyone now so desperately wants & demands.
