Winward along with the Canadian Academy of Floral Art (CAFA) and other wholesale suppliers have teamed up to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Society.
A book titled " Bruised Petals" will feature permanent floral creations prepared by members of the Academy that will feature the biographies of 12 breast cancer survivors and how they coped with this illnesses challenges.
CAFA will also be hosting a gala evening "For the Love of the Bloom" at the Embassy of France in Ottawa, on Saturday, October 17, 2009.
The CAFA designed pieces will be on display at Winward's freshly reset Mississauga showroom in August.
