Fall Maritime Gift Show cancelled
Written by Amanda Ryder
The Maritime Gift Show regrets to announce that the Fall 2009 Show has been cancelled due to lack of exhibitor interest. The show has posted the following announcement on its website:

We feel that to hold a minimized show, one building, would not meet your buying needs and therefore cause you unnecessary expense to attend. Other factors include financial concern for exhibitors who would attend and our own financial needs to be able to put on a Show. We are not surprised by the decrease in interest considering the economic factors that have exhibitors shortening their schedules and budgets, and that the Fall Show has historically not been as strong as our Spring Show. We apologize to those who count on our Fall Show for their buying but be assured we will not be dropping the Fall show if interest returns when conditions improve.

We have already received an excellent response to our Spring Show, Feb. 6-9, 2010 and will use this time to plan for a great Show. We will also be taking a look at how we can improve the Show for your buying needs and will be keeping you informed and seeking your input and ideas. Your concerns and needs are important to us because the Maritime Gift Show is put on for you, the buyers of Atlantic Canada. We wish you a successful season and look forward to seeing you in February.
