Written by Amanda Ryder

Fleurs Signées of Gatineau, QC. once again had the opportunity to flower this year's Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa.

For the fifth year in a row, the florist decorated Parliament Hill and inside the Parliament Building for all the VIPs and MPs (members of caucus) that attend the Canada Day celebrations. The florist also prepared the walk-around bouquets for the Governor General, Michaëlle Jean, who is a client of the shop, along with the wife of the Prime Minister.

This year's theme was "We are hosting the Olympics." The inspiration was the the logo of lime green and aqua. Fleurs Signées was successful in bringing a new flair and an edge to Canada's big birthday party.
