Oasis launches new floral design site
Written by Amanda Ryder
To be successful with today’s savvy consumer, florists must stay ahead of design and color trends. Recognizing this need, Oasis has launched a comprehensive website that provides an online resource to florists for research, trends, design ideas and more at www.oasisfloral.com . The site will feature a continuously updated design library that includes seasonal design ideas, color trends, innovative techniques and international floral designs.  It also features an exclusive floral community that offers additional design ideas and content for members only.

The www.oasisfloral.com site has several content focuses:

• The Design portion showcases finished arrangements. Visitors can download the images, as well as helpful how-to’s. Florists can use their own materials to re-create the arrangement, or refer to the product section.

• The Florist Community enables florists to become registered members for even greater access to additional design images, a dialogue with the Design Directors, and other exclusive offers throughout the year.

• Flower Care will offer educational information from Floralife experts on the care and handling of all types of flowers.

• In Business Support, florists will find additional tools such as an archive of IDEA Magazine and product information sheets.

The new site is part of OASIS Floral Products’ efforts to offer florists a comprehensive selection of electronic resources. These efforts include a new YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/OASISFloral) featuring how-to demonstrations and trend information from the Smithers-Oasis Design Directors, as well as IDEA Mail, a monthly eNewsletter to florists, offering seasonal tips and the latest trends.
