Super Floral Show changes name
Written by Amanda Ryder
The Super Floral Show has changed it's name to the International Floriculture Expo to reflect the expansion and broadened focus of the exposition. The new show, International Floriculture Expo, will be an industry-wide event that brings buyers and sellers together and serves all segments of the floriculture process, from Seed to Shelf.

Now with a permanent event location in Miami Beach, The International Floriculture Expo addresses each stage of the floral and foliage production cycle by showcasing live products as well as the equipment, technology and education necessary for cultivating and retailing. The 2010 International Floriculture Expo will take place June 23-25, 2010 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach, Florida.

The show will have a larger exhibit hall to display products for the retailer as well as greenhouse technology products for the commercial grower. “Exhibitors and attendees from the North and South American floriculture supply chain will find The International Floriculture Expo their solution for reaching and flourishing in the U.S. market,” said Bob Callahan, Show Director of The International Floriculture Expo. “Uniting the floriculture supply chain together under one roof creates an abundance of new business opportunities and expands synergies and efficiencies bringing product to market.”

The education program will continue to deliver quality keynote presentations, high-level education sessions and panels, and technology solutions for retailers, commercial growers and suppliers. The program, which runs Tuesday through Thursday, features a retail store, grower tour and a “Welcome Reception.”

The exhibit floor is open Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. “This new show schedule allows more opportunity for exhibitors and attendees to participate in the education program and spend time together in the exhibit hall,” says Callahan.
