 Nov. 6, 2009 - The White House has appointed Laura Dowling as the new official florist. She's the principle designer at Interieurs de Fleurs in Alexandria, VA.
On her Web site, Dowling describes her approach as "garden style":
natural arrangements with contrasting elements and colors, lots of
