Designs by Julie Drago, AIFD, CCSP
In the Nov/Dec issue of Canadian Florist, our By Design section featured designs by Julie Drago, AIFD, CCSP. For the By Design portfolio, Julie created several designs with an interior design theme in mind. Here’s are a few web exclusive designs by Julie that we couldn’t quite squeeze into the magazine.

Class and Comfort: This design is ideal in the guest room and can be filled with seasonal selections. Placed on a side table, the flowers are warm and welcoming.

Upwards and Onwards: A light, airy composite display can benefit any space. This design can be used to add interest and serve as a room’s focal point.

Sunlit Memories: The colour yellow helps promote calmness and has a soothing effect, making this design perfect for a cool evening spent with friends.

Welcome Home: A perfect way to spice up the entrance foyer. The vertical shape of this design minimizes the space needed to display it while the height, textures and colour make a bold statement.

Something to Talk About: Create dimensional art with the use of permanent botanicals on a Manzanita branch. Add in crystal drop prisms and garlands and this is sure to be a conversation piece.
