Stephanie Laprairie

Stephanie Laprairie began her floral career in Red Deer, Alta., in 1999 and graduated from the Commercial Floristry Program of Olds College in 2001. She owned and operated Stems in Calgary, Alta., from 2005 - 2009 and now celebrates her second year in business at Floral Gallery in Red Deer, Alta. As a young, successful entrepreneur and businesswoman, she continues to expand her business through professional development and is working to achieve her goal of accreditation with the American Institute of Floral Designers. For this portfolio, Stephanie has created designs under the theme of Valentine’s Day.  Le Jardin D’Amour is Stephanie’s high budget design option.

Standing Bouquet
A deeply hued and highly textured collection of hand-tied roses, allium, ‘Moon Series’ carnations, callas, tulips, heather and gladiola florets dressed and supported by an intricately patterned collar of silver and green zebrina leaves.

Floral ‘Collier’
Interlocking swirls create an abstract heart-shaped floral necklace. The reflexed spathe of a calla, its spadex replaced with Viburnum berries and a violet floret, is balanced with purple fern (Uhule) curls and bear grass rings.

Several Dozen Arranged
Create a simple, high-impact and luxuriously abundant look with South American “Greenrose” varieties of  ‘Heat’. Here ‘Black Baccara’, ‘Blue Curiosa’, ‘Hot Lady’ and ‘Geraldine’ roses are enclosed with architectural dogwood caging.

Le Jardin d’Amour
A design perfect for any sweetheart. A combination of potted plants accented with cut orchid blooms creates a pleasing visual landscape of texture and colour. A great long-lasting alternative to a dozen roses and an absolutely stunning way to say I love you.
