On March 28, Florist Supply presented a floral demonstration entitled Modern
Bride 2010 showcasing the creative and innovative designs of Derrick Hollar
AIFD, CAFA and Donald
Yim
AIFD, CPFD.
The program consisted of three sections starting with “The Elements and Principles of Design” emphasizing the importance of color
schemes, mechanics and design principles.
What followed was a stunning collection of wedding work, highlighted by some ornate cascading bouquets. The
final section showcased an eclectic collection of vase arrangements. One that stood out was a nesting of square vases displayed on a black
tray with interwoven grasses in shades of hot pink and orange.
