Christmasworld 2011 florists' supplies area grows
Written by Amanda Ryder
July 5, 2010 - Florists’ supplies will be making a splash at Christmasworld, which runs from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany. For the first time, the product display area for the leading international fair for the festive decoration sector will be spread across two halls: “Exhibitor demand and visitor interest are simply huge. Even in previous years we received so many inquiries for this area that we could not consider all the companies concerned, so we decided to extend the product range to Hall 9.0”, says Jutta Baumann, Director, Christmasworld. As a result, in 2011, this premier event will be exhibiting an even wider product portfolio for florists. In addition, exhibitors in the six halls will be offering a range of decorations and trends for every public holiday and annual festivity.

In future, buyers will be able to order silk and dried flowers, plant pots, bowls, vases and decorating accessories practically everywhere in Hall 9.0. As well as a host of trendy products, Hall 9.0 also offers a special highlight to go with the range - visitors can look forward to a spectacular special show, featuring floristry-based decorating ideas, the theme of which is “Wedding”. A newcomer area, where young designers will be presenting innovative decorating products, adds a new dimension. Christmasworld emphasizes the expansion of the florists’ supplies segment into Hall 9.0 with a layout visitors can easily find their way around.

In Hall 8.0, a comprehensive range of indoor and outdoor plant pots, decorative and stick figurines in attractive designs for every festive occasion, artificial Christmas trees, flowers and plants await florists. The ribbon and packaging, candles and fragrances product sector round off the portfolio. Here, buyers can order high quality, high-end ribbons in trendy colours as well as packaging materials for flowers. With pillar and tapered candles, tea lights, scented and beeswax candles, exhibitors will be presenting the full range of natural lights.

Christmasworld also offers a unique decorating range for every festive occasion of the year. In Hall 9.0, in the new florists supplies area, visitors will find annual and seasonal decorations, decorative gifts, party and festive products like fireworks. One floor higher, in Hall 9.1, the spotlight will be on annual and seasonal decorations and decorative gifts. Exhibitors on national stands will be showing festive goods for high volume buyers in Hall 9.2. Anyone looking for festive lighting, shop and display and Christmas decoration, should visit Hall 11.0. Hall 11.1 is totally devoted to the theme of Christmas decorations.
