CAFA judging seminars, design show at Expo 2010
Written by Amanda Ryder
Oct. 6, 2010 - In less than two weeks, CAFA will be presenting a judging seminar in Toronto as well as a design demonstration at Expo 2010 and florists are invited to attend both events.

CAFA's Judging Seminar

The judging seminars will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16 at the Toronto Congress Centre on 650 Dixon Road in Toronto. Here, attendees will find out how they can become a Qualified Floral Judge. Florists can attend the Phase 1 National Judging Seminar from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. to learn how to properly identify and understand the elements of floral judging. They will also be trained to work with the newly devised floral judging form and format that will become a standard for the industry.

Space is limited so early registration is encouraged. Visit www.cafachat.com for more information.

CAFA's Annual Design Event and Induction Ceremony

CAFA's annual design event takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at the Toronto Congress Centre in Hall D and E. The group is hosting Expo 2010's Garden Party with cocktails and this begins at 5 p.m. The event will include static floral demonstrations by CAFA members starting at 7 p.m. in the show area. In addition to this, CAFA will announce the winners of the photo competition and welcome new CAFA members to the academy.

For more information on this event, visit the Expo 2010 website.
