CAFA elects a new president
Written by Amanda Ryder
Nov. 25, 2010 - The Board of Directors of the Canadian Academy of Floral Art has elected a new President. Accepting the two year term as President is Derrick Foss CAFA, AIFD.

Foss was inducted in 1998 and served as the academy’s third president in 2000. This term (2010-2012) will be the eighth presidential term. His term will see the continuation of direction set in motion by past president, Joel Marc Frappier MFA, CAFA.

CAFA is currently celebrating 17 years of recognizing floral design as an art form. With an international membership roster including Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia – there is a bright future ahead. The Canadian Academy of Floral Art honours those with the ability to take their skill and creativity a level beyond the everyday and florally transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Membership details are available upon request by visiting www.cafachat.com.
