I was glad to read the article on the top trends for 2011. It seems that random acts of kindness will be front and center as a top trend. We have a Pay it Forward program we run several times a year where our customers enter to win a bouquet for themselves and then get to choose someone else to give flowers to. It's been a huge success and it's just a lot of fun. People love to get flowers and I love to give them. It's just a little something we can do to hopefully make a bit of a difference in someone's day. This past week we gave out primroses to all our customers who came in that day. Sometimes it's a single carnation. After our long winter this bright spot of sunshine was very well received. Pay it Forward and make a difference. Let it not be just a trend.
