Did you hit your sales target this V-day?
Written by Amanda Ryder
Feb. 25, 2011 - Now that you've had some time relax and re-cooperate, how was Valentine's Day at your shop this year? Was Cupid the only one hitting his target or did sales exceed your expectations? Did roses dominate as per usual or were customers willing to try something different?

Here's what a few florists had to say on the Canadian Florist Facebook page:

"Best Valentine's Day ever, thanks for asking! Up! Up ! Up! Good things on the horizon for retail I believe!"
-
Tracy Bell of La Belle Fleur Floral Boutique Ltd., Surrey, B.C.

"We at Salmon Arm Florist had a fantastic Valentine's - lots of traffic, and on average higher price points too."
-David Barritt of Salmon Arm Florist in Salmon Arm, B.C.

"Up 700% from February 14, 2010!"
-Joseph Delarge of eco|stems in Toronto, Ont.

I thought I had ordered way too many flowers but when the last client left the shop on the 14th, we had hardly anything left to sell on the 15th. :)
