CAFA presents Juno Blooms Floral Competition

March 14, 2011 - The Canadian Academy of Floral Art will be hosting the Juno Blooms Floral Competition, sponsored by Hofland, Smithers-Oasis and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), on March 25. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Juno Awards, this year's theme is Ruby Glam and florists are asked to prepare a ruby red floral display that reflects the glamour of this event.

Juno Blooms Rules:
The conceptions must be a minimum of 24-inch diametre and 60-inches in height. It might not exceed 36-inches in diametre and 80-inches in height. Only red flowers can be used and 75 per cent of the design must be floral product. Participants will be allowed to install and prepare it in an assigned location at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. noon on March 25. The participant will be required to clean his or her work area.
