Recognized by the 2010 Professional BC Wedding Awards as the Best Wedding Florist in the overall category, Doris Lee’s experience in the floral industry has spanned 15 years. She founded Simply Sweet Floral Designs in 2005, focusing on customized design for weddings and building great relationships with clients. Her passion for capturing emotions with flowers and her uncanny ability to understand client needs has gained her numerous testimonials from delighted newlyweds. For this portfolio, Doris draws inspiration from many different sources: music, popular culture, time-period style and classical style.

Go green, go organic, go nature! These hues in this medium- to low-budget option will lead you to the beautiful meadows of nature’s purest creation, leaving you carefree and feeling refreshed. Mystic Magic
The purpose behind creating this design was to show that not all bridal designs need roses or calla lilies, the two most commonly used floral stems in wedding bouquets. This is my high-budget design option. Floral product: hypericum berries, ranunculus, mokara orchids, carnations, alstroemeria, peonies, tulips and stocks. Hard goods: chain dazzle, wool wire, beaded wire, purple pins and ribbon.

A little glow that will make you do the robot dance but is elegant enough to bring out your femininity. This low-budget design is inspired by the striking visuals of the movie Tron. Floral product: gardenias and mini cymbidium orchids. Hard goods: black pleather, electroluminescent light, floral tape and wire.
