Feb. 7, 2012, Lake Hopatcong, N.J. – Three Chicks Florist in Lake Hopatcong, N.J., has come up with a novel way to make use of overstocked items. The shop is running a promotion that encourages customers to nominate someone who has done something good or kind to receive a bouquet of flowers in a heart-shaped vase.

The promotion started when the owners had 30 heart-shaped vases left over from last Valentine’s Day, and decided to use them to give back to the community, rather than selling them. The promotion has netted five recipients to date, with 25 vases still remaining. | READ MORE
